Our School
Respect, Responsibility & Resilience
Manorcroft Primary School is a friendly, inclusive two-form entry school for children aged 4-11 (Year R to Year 6), which offers a caring, safe and exciting learning environment.
Our aim is for each and every child to develop a love of learning and to fulfil their potential, whatever their starting point or individual need. We believe in the development of the whole child, ensuring that their social and emotional needs, as well as their academic needs are met.
At Manorcroft we have an exciting project-based curriculum which encourages children to develop not only their subject knowledge, but also to make links in their learning and to apply their skills in a range of different contexts. We take every opportunity to take the learning outside into our extensive grounds, using our outside classroom spaces, woodland, allotment and orchard areas.
We welcome parents into school and encourage them to become involved in all aspects of school life. In addition to regular events such as class assemblies, year group performances and sporting events, we hold curriculum exhibitions where the children are able to share and discuss their learning. Our friendly and active PTA organises fundraising events throughout the year and new members are always welcome.
We understand that choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. We are incredibly proud of our school and would be delighted to show you around and share our plans for the future. Please come and visit us during the day to see us in action!
I look forward to welcoming you to Manorcroft.
